Boundary Breakthrough

Kickass Lessons for a Happier, Healthier You!

IT IS OK TO SAY NO !!!

Know your limits: Boundaries define who you are and what you're cool with.

  • Spot when someone crosses the line: It could be physical, verbal, or messing with your emotions.

  • Be clear about your limits: Speak up directly when boundaries are crossed.

  • Back it up: Enforce those boundaries and stick to the consequences.

  • Say no when needed: It's okay to turn down stuff that doesn't vibe with you.

  • No excuses necessary: You don't owe anyone an explanation for your boundaries.

  • Walk away if needed: Don't waste time on folks who can't respect your limits.

  • Forgive yourself: Mistakes happen; forgive, learn, and move forward.

  • Learn from the past: Reflect on past slip-ups to avoid them in the future.

  • Be patient: Setting boundaries takes time; it's a learning process.

  • Seek support: Chat with friends, family, or a therapist about your boundary journey.

  • Educate yourself: Read up on boundaries to boost your know-how.

  • Self-care matters: Look after your physical and emotional well-being.

  • Trust yourself: You've got the ability to set and stick to healthy boundaries.

  • Happiness is your right: Don't settle for anything less than a happy, boundary-respecting life.

By following these lessons, you can learn to set and enforce healthy boundaries, which will lead to a more fulfilling and happy life. ~RS

"I am a guardian of my well-being, setting clear boundaries with grace. I respect myself enough to say no when needed and enforce limits with love. By creating healthy boundaries, I cultivate a space where happiness and harmony flourish within and around me."

New Hampshire Man Unexpectedly Leaves Millions to His Small Town

The people of Hinsdale, New Hampshire, have been left stunned after learning that one unassuming, longtime resident left the small town millions in his will. Geoffrey Holt was the caretaker of a mobile home park in Hinsdale, and never seemed to have much — he rode a bike (or lawn mower) instead of a car, worn-out clothes, and didn’t invest in furniture for his mobile home.

Bagels Were Once Given as Gifts to Women After Childbirth

After a woman has had a bun in the oven for nine months, presenting her with a bagel might seem like a strange choice. But some of the earliest writings on bagels relate to the idea of giving them as gifts to women after labor. Many historians believe that bagels were invented in the Jewish community of Krakow, Poland, during the early 17th century. Their circular shape echoes the round challah bread eaten on the Jewish new year, Rosh Hashanah. Enjoying round challahs is meant to bring good luck, expressing the hope that endless blessings — goodness without end — will arrive in the coming year. Likewise, in Krakow centuries ago, a bagel signified the circle of life and longevity for the child. In addition to the symbolism of the round shape, the bread was believed to bring a pregnant woman or midwife good fortune in a delivery by casting aside evil spirits. Some pregnant women even wore bagels on necklaces as protection, or ensured bagels were present in the room where they gave birth.

Why many celebs were just sued for sexual assault🥺

Last week, prominent men, including hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, NYC Mayor Eric Adams, Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, actor Jamie Foxx, and more, were sued in New York for sexual abuse or harassment that allegedly took place decades ago.

The timing was no coincidence: These suits were filed before a New York law called the Adult Survivors Act expired on Thursday. The law, which went into effect on Nov. 24, 2022, gave adult survivors one year to file civil abuse and harassment claims no matter when in the past the alleged incidents may have happened. The lifting of the statute of limitations was intended to recognize that the trauma inflicted on survivors may have prevented them from coming forward previously.

Former President Trump was the first person to be sued under the law. He was found liable for sexually abusing the writer E. Jean Carroll in the ’90s and was ordered to pay her $5 million in damages. Trump and other men named in suits last week deny the accusations.

What are crockpot freezer meals?

If you’re not familiar with the term, a freezer crockpot meal is basically when you dump all the raw ingredients into a freezer bag or container and pop it in the freezer. In this case, no cooking is required during the prep time, which makes it super easy!

On the day you wish to cook the meal, you simply add the contents of the bag and maybe a little water or broth (whatever the recipe specifies) to your slow cooker and let it do its thing!

All of the prep work is done ahead of time so you basically just dump the contents in, set it and forget it. Such a great way to save on time and energy and it makes for such an easy meal!
