Reclaiming Your Power:
Embracing Change & Owning Your Life
This Is Your Life.

By Rosanne Santos
You’re allowed to change your mind. To change your heart. To grow into someone new, even if the world expects you to stay the same. You’re allowed to wake up one day and realize that the things you once wanted no longer fit who you are becoming.
You’re allowed to love who you love—without apology, without explanation.
To walk away from people who drain you, who dim your light, who make you feel small.
To let go of anyone who no longer serves your happiness, without guilt, without second-guessing.
You’re allowed to make mistakes, to stumble, to fail spectacularly—and to rise just as boldly. To learn from your missteps, or to repeat them until the lesson finally sinks in.
You’re allowed to leave your past behind if it weighs you down. Or to carry parts of it with you, as long as you understand that clinging to it won’t help you grow.
You’re allowed to change careers, to reinvent yourself, to pursue something that ignites your soul—even if it terrifies you. To dress differently, to speak differently, to chase dreams that others may not understand.
You’re allowed to have days where you don’t like yourself, but you’re also allowed to rewrite the parts of your story that no longer align with who you want to be. To work on yourself until you recognize the woman staring back at you in the mirror.
This is your life. Make it count.
Validate yourself. Walk your own path. Define happiness on your own terms.
You are enough. You are not broken.
You are stronger than you believe.
Now breathe… and step into the life that’s waiting for you.
Good evening. It's Thursday, Feb. 27, and we're digging into the proposed US-Ukraine minerals deal, religious views in America, and much more.
Need To Know Ukraine Minerals Deal Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to visit the White House as early as tomorrow to finalize and sign an economic deal that grants the US access to revenues from Ukraine's natural resources while helping Ukraine rebuild its war-torn economy. Ukraine is home to roughly 5% of the world's critical raw materials—which include about 17 elements essential to a wide range of products, including medical equipment, military applications, and consumer technology such as cellphones and electric vehicles. However, an estimated 40% of Ukraine’s mineral resources are inaccessible because of Russian-occupied regions. Analysts say the US seeks to reduce its dependence on China, the world's largest producer of rare earth minerals, which controls roughly 75% of the global supply. See a breakdown of Ukraine's mineral resources here. |
Religion in America A new study released yesterday by the Pew Research Center shows the decline of Christianity in the US has slowed and may have stabilized. The survey of 36,908 Americans, conducted in 2023 and 2024, found that almost 85% of US adults believe in God or a universal spirit, with 62% identifying as Christian—40% as Protestant and 19% as Catholic. The news comes after years of steady decline, with previous studies showing 78% of US adults identified as Christian in 2007 and 71% in 2014. The study also found that 29% of Americans are religiously unaffiliated, including atheists, agnostics, and those identifying as "nothing in particular." |
